I caught the photography bug in high school and only picked it back up after I got my first engineering job (cameras are expensive!). I wanted some experience doing paid gigs and made a good relationship with a B Corp that helps organize college hackathons. Lots of fun doing these events and being able to capture some joy and share the happiness offered a nice break from engineering work.
